ScriptLix Studio is a free screenplay editor that runs in your browser. Unlimited scripts, correct screenplay formatting, no account, and AI that writes at the caret. Drafts are stored in this browser, not on a server, so Studio keeps working offline.

What Studio does

• Correct screenplay format as you type: scene headings, action, character cues, parentheticals, dialogue and transitions, on the fixed-pitch Courier grid a reader expects.
• AI at the caret: a suggestion appears where you are writing, and Tab takes it. Nothing to paste into a chat window.
• Local-first storage: scripts live in this browser. No account, no upload, and it keeps working with the network off.
• Unlimited scripts, free. Import a .fountain, .txt or .md file, and export your work back out whenever you want it.

Every screenplay on ScriptLix is developed in house using AI tools under human direction. A person chooses the concept, then reads and corrects the draft before it is published.
